Eddington Ecology Walking Tour II

Discover some of the habitats and features created at Eddington in this walking tour led by Mike Dean, the project’s ecologist.
About this event:
The tour will outline some of the works undertaken to enhance the area’s biodiversity, such as the lagoon, tree planting and reedbeds at Brook Leys, as well as highlighting some of the features in the built environment at Eddington.
Mike will also explain how wildlife and important habitats were protected during construction, such as great crested newts, nesting birds and the veteran oak tree.
Discover new areas of natural habitats in Cambridge and hear about Eddington’s progress in this informative tour.
This event is part of Cambridge Nature Festival.
