The University of Cambridge community is deeply saddened by the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We have made the decision to cancel this event.

Sustainability is a big theme: but it also starts with You.

Eddington hosts a family friendly event where you can learn tips to lead a more sustainable life.

Discover the intricate details of nature and wildlife in our popular Eddington Ecology walking tours; explore Cambridge’s Vegan Market, practice the circular economy in a local toy-swap, gain insights in a talk by Professor Shailaja Fennell from the Department of Land Economy; and take on some energetic cycling challenges including the try-out show (hop on the saddle of a range of bikes) and cycle sprints: these activities and many more are open to the community.

Our partners from local charities and organisations will be here to provide tips on a range of topics including sustainable travel from the University’s Transport Team, refills to reduce single-use plastics from local business Green Blue You, and local conservation, all of which aims to share knowledge in how to live a greener life.
