Eddington Ecology Walking Tours - part of Sustainable YOU - CANCELLED

Saturday 10th September 2022

The University of Cambridge community is deeply saddened by the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We have made the decision to cancel this event.

Discover some of the habitats and features created at Eddington in this walking tour led by the project’s ecologist, Mike Dean.

The tour will outline the works undertaken to enhance the area’s biodiversity, such as the lagoon, tree planting and reedbeds at Brook Leys, as well as highlighting some of the features in the built environment at Eddington. Mike will also explain how wildlife and important habitats were protected during construction, such as great crested newts, nesting birds and the veteran oak tree.

This event is part of the Sustainable YOU at Eddington and the University of Cambridge’s Open Cambridge Festival 2022.

Places are free but booking is required.
