Eddington Square
Eddington’s Market Square can host a range of events, with shops and social spaces around the square making it a natural meeting point for all to enjoy.
There is currently a Sainsbury’s supermarket and Argos store, and from October 2020 Dulcedo Eddington will be offering freshly baked breads, coffee, chocolates, desserts and other delicious home made products. Further retailers will be arriving in the future that will create a welcoming neighbourhood.
Once the sun sets, Market Square is lit up with magical projections of artworks, poems and patterns inspired by Cambridge and the rich history and heritage of the University. As well as a constant subtle flow of images, there are hourly “shows” with interactive works to mimic the idea of a town clock.
