World Cup screenings at The Starman

This summer, Locke is bringing the World Cup to Eddington, with live screenings at The Starman throughout the tournament.

Whether you’re following every fixture or just looking for a lively place to soak up the atmosphere, The Starman will be showing the action with cold drinks, game-day food and plenty of space to settle in with friends and neighbours.

Located on the ground floor of Turing Locke on Eddington Avenue, The Starman offers a relaxed local setting for the community to come together during the tournament – without needing to head into central Cambridge. With the World Cup returning to the US for the first time since 1994, expect a subtle nod to ’90s Americana along the way, from the soundtrack to the food.

There will also be a finals giveaway on 19 July, with the chance to win a one-night stay at any Locke – 18 across the UK and Europe – plus an authentic vintage US national team football shirt from ’94.

Screenings of the games takes place from 11 June – 19 July.
