Woodcraft Folk is a cooperative youth movement which opens up a world of adventure for young people.

The volunteers who work at Woodcraft Folk believe passionately in equality and co-operation. The best ways to learn about big ideas is through fun activities like bush craft, camping, crafts, playing and singing.

The aim is to have great fun and to develop children’s self-confidence and to build their awareness of the society around them.

All groups are run by volunteers, many of whom are parents of young people in our groups, and the organisation seeks to ensure that weekly groups, residential trips and camps are affordable and inclusive for all. Please get in touch for more information or come along to a Wednesday group night.

Woodcraft Folk meets every week, either at Storey’s Field Centre or out-and-about.
