Join us for a free afternoon of activities showcasing the wide range of classes, groups and events that take place throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to get active, get creative, meet new people or simply explore the space, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Experience live music, fitness taster sessions, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities and much more—all under one roof. Meet local instructors, community groups and fellow residents, and find out how you can get involved.

Come along, have a go, and see what goes on behind the doors of Eddington’s award-winning community centre.

11.00 TALK: ‘Inside Information’, All about Storey’s Field Centre, Phillip Money, Centre Manager

12.00 MUSIC: CBreezes Wind Ensemble

13.00 TALK: Eddington. Q&A with David Smith, Head of Non-Operational Projects, University of Cambridge.

14.00 MUSIC: Singing Allowed

15.00: MUSIC: Eddington Community Orchestra

Throughout the music performances, you are free to come and go as you please. Or stay as you will.

STUDIO

11.00 WELLBEING: HEAT Jump start your metabolism with 30 minutes workout led by Nikki Baring.

11.45 WELLBEING: PILATES 30 minutes mat-based activity that exercises the whole body led by Nikki Baring.

12.30: CHILDREN’S DANCE led by Jill Bridger School of Dance (age group tbc)

13.15: CHILDREN’S DANCE led by Jill Bridger School of Dance (age group tbc)

14.00: WELLBEING: YOGA FLOW 45 minutes yoga session to unfurl, move, breathe and rest led by Rachael Moore.

All Wellbeing classes are suitable for both men and women.

15.00: FILM: Einstein & Eddington (Cert PG, 95 mins). BAFTA-nominated drama starring David Tennant about the development of Einstein’s theory of general relativity, and Einstein’s relationship with British scientist Sir Arthur Eddington, the first physicist to experimentally prove his ideas.

11.00 CHILDREN’S activities

14.00 ART: East Asian Painting. Explore the world of the Far East, its philosophy and sense of beauty through this ancient art form with Peter Cavaciuti (allow 2 hours).
