Re-start a Heart

Friday 16th October 2026

Location: Storey’s Field Centre

Join us for Restart A Heart Day, where you can learn life-saving CPR skills and help make a difference in our community!

The session aims to raise awareness of how cardiac arrests can happen to anyone at any time, and increase the number of people trained in Cardiopulmonary Resucitation (CPR) and the use of automatic electronic defibrillators (AED). The session is being delivered by the East of England Ambulance Service/EEAST Heart. The session is 50 minutes long with a combination of presentation, demonstration and practice.

We are very grateful to the EEAS/EEAST Heart for running these session for free with the support of local paramedics and volunteer Community First Responders. The event has been organised by the University Sports Centre. Please ensure that you only book if you are definitely able to attend to ensure the maximum number of people can benefit from this opportunity.

There are 50-minute sessions available throughout the day starting from 9.10am – 5.10pm at Storey’s Field Centre.
