Josh Rouse will be performing from his acclaimed album Going Places at Storey’s Field Centre this November.

Rouse offers arrestingly catchy songs built on the folk and Americana genres, but with strong pop sensibilities. Some great albums have been born out of Covid lockdown, and Going Places is no exception, recorded from songs that were born when the artist was in Spain with his family, waiting for lockdown restrictions to ease.

He played the songs that became the new album with his Spanish band in a friend’s bar while waiting for travel restrictions to end so he could do some touring again. Happily the touring is back in full swing, and Storey’s Field will supply the atmospheric backdrop for Rouse to convey his considerable talents.
