foodPark will be arriving at Eddington’s Market Square from 1 July.
Some of Cambridge’s finest independent street food traders will be opening their hatches and serving great food to the local community on Wednesday evenings and Saturday lunchtimes.
foodPark traders will be open at Eddington on Wednesday evenings from 5pm-8pm and Saturday lunchtimes from 12pm-2pm from 1 July 2020. Appropriate social distancing measures will be in place.
foodPark will be operating with measures in place to encourage social distancing including contactless payment, contactless food collection, online ordering system, hand sanitiser at vans, distance markers, as well as extended serving hours.
- Wednesday 28 October – Pizza Mondo (5-8pm)
Pre-order available. Pizza Mondo is pizza that is made from hand-stretched dough to order and wood-fired use fresh homemade dough to deliver delicious Neapolitan pizzas out of their retro Beaufort horsebox.
- Wednesday 28 October – Road Dogs (5-8pm)
Pre-order available. Road Dogs serve a variety of American style hotdogs topped with fries from ‘The Big Rig’. These hotdogs are handmade 100% British pork franks, wrapped in a freshly steamed bun and topped with various American inspired toppings. Road Dogs also offer a variety of twice-cooked skin-on fries to choose from.
- Saturday 31 October – Steak & Honour (12-2pm)
Pre-order available. Steak & Honour serve proper burgers & fries from distinctive Citroen H vans. They use only the best local suppliers and local artisanal brioche buns.
- Saturday 31 October – Wandering Yak (12-2pm)
No pre-order available. Fresh and vibrant plant-based street food inspired by the flavours of the Middle East.
- Saturday 31 October – Churros Bar (12-2pm)
No pre-order available. Churro is a delicious Spanish sweet treat. This fried-dough pastry with a light and fluffy centre are satisfyingly crunchy on the outside. The Churros Bar serves each of their Churro with a choice of dips including home-made salted-caramel sauce, strawberry jam or Nutella.
- Saturday 31 October – VG Coffee (10.30am-2pm)
No pre-order available. ‘Plant & Pedal Powered’. The coffee tricycle is a highly innovative and ultra-low carbon pedal-powered bike that requires no electricity. The beans for each cup of coffee are freshly ground to order by pedal-power.
