Eddington Arts combines work from a group of local artists and crafts people. Following their success last September, the group return with a second event which is bigger and better to Storey’s Field Centre.

Eddington resident, Rebecca Stark moved to the community in 2021 and was keen to add more art and craft to the cultural fabric of the community. When she struck an instant friendship with Barbara Brochbank at New Life Church, ‘Eddington Arts’ was created after Barbara offered to organise an event.

Rebecca said: “I couldn’t believe how many people came along to the first show. The feedback was really positive. It was a lovely atmosphere, with many people commenting on the range and high quality of work on show.”

The second Eddington Arts event will see a great selection of high quality art and craft on showcase, including jewellery, ceramics, clocks, bags, handmade books, Mongolian crafts, painting, prints, metalwork, glassware, illustration, textiles and woodturning from 17 local artists.

Visitors can meet the artists who will demonstrate the skills and techniques used in the pieces. A range of cakes and refreshments will be available

Rebecca has worked as an artist for over 30 years and has painted Cambridge scenes and produced handmade metal clocks. Barbara will be showing craft from Mongolia.
