The University of Cambridge promotes sustainable travel. As part of our work to encourage cycling at Eddington, Outspoken with their experienced mechanics, are offering one-to-one sessions when they will conduct a full check of bicycles and carry out minor repairs on site.
For any repairs that require a bit more work, the mechanics will give detailed advice on exactly what needs fixing.
Dr Bike sessions are for free to:
- All residents living in Eddington (University key worker tenants and Privately owned housing).
- Students living in Swirles Court
- Staff based in Eddington, this currently includes the University of Cambridge, Portal Estate Management, Sainsbury’s, Dulcedo, Turing Locke, University of Cambridge Primary School (UCPS), Eddington Nursery and Storey’s Field Centre staff.
- Parents/guardians of children based in UCPS and the nursery.
Sessions are available on a regular basis: the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
