Celebrations for East and South East Asian Heritage Month

A day packed with cultural celebrations is set to take place this Sunday at Storey’s Field Centre to celebrate East and South East Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month, sponsored by Cambridge City Council and UK Education Garden.

There will be something for everyone with a selection of sweet and savoury food vendors, Taiwanese and Chinese music from Mia & Ruby, the unique Japanese Tsugaru-Shamisen played by Jonathan Tan, as well as dance and poetry from Cambridge Chinese Academy,

Tai chi and Shotokan karate demonstrations will keep families entertained, along with East Asian painting, a Children’s Mandarin lesson, stalls from Eco-Japan and Noralisa, 3D printing, and the ESEA Children’s Book Corner.

The Event is free to attend, but tickets must be registered in advance here.
