Cambridge Jazz Festival

The Cambridge Jazz Festival is a celebration of the huge variety of music that jazz encompasses and aims to open jazz up to new audiences, particularly young people, and to give them the chance to get involved as well as come and listen.
Sat 17th Nov at 1:30pm – The Alley Cats
A musical treat for all the family. The Alley Cats are a seven-piece jazz band playing fresh and original arrangements of tunes from Disney and other popular children’s shows. Face painting, quizzes, and more.
Sat 17th Nov at 7:30pm – Elliot Gavin Trio
A superbly gifted composer, pianist and rising star of UK jazz. His maverick imagination and magpie-like ability to blend a disparate world of influences into his own unique musical vision.
Sun 18 Nov at 6:30pm – Cambridge Youth Jazz Band
Cambridge Youth Jazz Band hosts four entertaining sets of jazz standards, improvisation and new jazz and funk compositions.
24th Nov at 1:00pm – Groove Baby
Groove Baby presents Groove into Space a family friendly afternoon of jazz and space fun with The Brass Flunkys.
Sat 24th Nov at 7:30pm – Kim Kliphuis Trio + Harp Bazaar
Internationally renowned legends, the Tim Kliphuis Trio perform “the most breath-taking instrumental show you’ll hear this year”, a blend of gypsy jazz, classical and folk music.
Sun 25th Nov at 7:30pm – The Brass Funkeys + Three Step Manoeuvre ft Georgia Van Etten
