Brew Monday

Monday 15th January 2024 8:00am - 6:00pm

Known as ‘Blue Monday’, the third Monday in January is thought to be the saddest day of the year. The festivities are over, there’s a long wait until pay day, and the mornings are as dark and cold as ever. But help is at hand… Knights Park are offering complimentary teas and coffees, and bringing the Toco Coffee van to their Marketing Suite on Eddington Avenue (near Huntingdon Road entrance) to give you a mood boost and the opportunity to connect with neighbours.

Toco Coffee Van serving times: 8am – 10:30am & 3pm – 6pm
Knights Park Sales Suite, Eddington Avenue.

The idea of Blue Monday might sound light-hearted, but we’re well aware that mental health issues are anything but according to Mind, the mental health charity, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem every year in England.  If you or someone you know needs mental health support at this tricky time of year, a call to one of these free helplines might be the answer:

Samaritans 116 123 (24 hours a day, every day)

SANEline 0300 304 7000 (4.30pm–10.30pm, every day)

National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK 0800 689 5652 (6pm–3:30am, every day).

Ready to show Blue Monday who’s boss? Drop by for a brew and a natter. Mood boost guaranteed! Seating and blankets also provided.

Event is run by Hill, developer of Knights Park.
