Astronomy Night

Sunday 2nd March 2025 6:15pm - 7:15pm

Enjoy a walk around Eddington with local residents. Guide, Will Hay, leads these informative sessions for the community.

During this walk, expect for Mercury to be visible which is rare because it is so close to the sun, as well as Venus, the Crescent Moon, Jupiter and Mars all visible in an arc showing the plan of the ecliptic.

Astronomy is highly weather dependent so events may be moved or cancelled at short notice. Please keep an eye on emails the day before. Sign up to the tour mailing list for the community walks and for notices of event changes.

The event is free and open to all ages.

Meet on the gravel by the cricket pitch.
