Pints, bites & good times: Eddington Beer Garden is back this May
Combining food, drink and live entertainment, this free-to-attend vibrant pop-up makes a welcome return to Eddington Square from 9-11 May.
Set in the heart of this flourishing community, the Eddington Beer Garden will welcome people to come together and unwind. With refreshing drinks, delicious food, and live entertainment featuring the city’s hottest talent, this pop-up experience promises memorable moments for both residents and visitors alike.
Now in its third year, Eddington’s flagship outdoor event is back by popular demand with its standout pop-up bars pouring a variety of craft beverages, cask ales, and spirits from beloved local breweries such as Brewboard and Papworth Brewery. There will also be an exciting range of refreshing low and no-alcohol options to ensure there’s something for every taste.
Food trucks galore will showcase a variety of global cuisines, with a unique lineup each day. The 2025 event will feature an expanded selection, including returning favourites such as Pig-Casso’s and Wrapunzel, as well as fresh additions like HitWrap, Manna Seoul, and Taste of Cambridge. Guests can also look forward to tempting desserts from Churros, Ice Cream Dreams, Sweet & Delish, and more.
The event stage will set the scene for a weekend of free live music featuring an eclectic mix of rising local talent, DJs and community acts. Lineup highlights include Americana vibes of S.J. Mortimer (of local superstars Morganway fame) and Luke Tuchscherer, plus summer sounds from Soft Crunchy Landing, Cores Do Samba and 40 Elephant Gang.
Biky Wan, Eddington’s Marketing Manager for the University of Cambridge, commented: “We’re delighted to bring back the Eddington Beer Garden for its third year running, building on the success of previous events and cementing its place as a highlight of our calendar. We are creating a vibrant neighbourhood for people to connect through our dynamic placemaking programme. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors once again for a fantastic weekend.”
Eddington Beer Garden will be open on Friday 9 May 4pm – 10pm, Saturday 10 May noon – 10pm, and Sunday 11 May noon – 6pm. Entry is free but guests are encouraged to register in advance so the organisers can provide the best experience possible.
