New Opening: Dulcedo Social

Eddington’s popular bakery and patisserie has opened the doors to Dulcedo Social with a soft opening in the heart of the neighbourhood. The flagship space is a meeting place for the community and builds on their success over the last three years in their pop-up at Eddington Square.

Dulcedo owner Andrew Hunter commented: “We are absolutely delighted to open Dulcedo Social. We feel extremely grateful to have the backing of the University of Cambridge to further establish our business during a period of uncertainty. We are now realising our original ambition in Eddington and we owe our community a huge thank you for supporting us and we can’t wait to welcome our customers to our new home.”

Matt Johnson, Head of Development for North West Cambridge at the University of Cambridge commented: “Supporting local independent businesses to grow and thrive in Eddington is a key part of our retail plans, and the success of Dulcedo is a great example of what we want to achieve with businesses and for the community. Congratulations to the whole team involved in creating this new social space for the neighbourhood.”

Dulcedo Social in Eddington Square has opened with a soft launch and sells their artisan sourdough, delicious pastries, a selection of drinks, as well as a new gelato bar.

In due course, Dulcedo Social will expand its social and dining experience through an evolving food offer. Seasonal foods, relaxed bistro menus, and formal meals are all part of the plans to keep things interesting for our customers.
