Housing Minister visits Eddington

The Housing Minister, Rachel Maclean from the Department of Levelling Up, Homes and Communities visited Eddington in October for a tour arranged by RIBA to explore best practice in well-designed places.

As part of the visit, the Housing Minister was welcomed into Storey’s Field Centre, the community centre at the heart of the neighbourhood, before embarking on a walking tour of the neighbourhood led by principals of the award-winning architectural practices, WilkinsonEyre, Mole and Stanton Williams. The tour highlighted quality mixed-use housing design, the sustainability standard as well as community and placemaking principles which are embedded in Eddington.
