Green Blue You, an eco-friendly pop-up arrives at Eddington

The Green Blue You pop-up starts this month in Eddington market square. This new local business helps residents to lead more sustainable lives by providing a convenient way to purchase household essentials and cut down on single use plastic.

This local business offers refills of cleaning, laundry, hair and body products along with a range of eco-friendly household essentials which helps customers to reduce their environmental footprint and cut down on single use plastic.

The founders of Green Blue You are Cambridge-based entrepreneurs, Sarah Ferriss and Sarah Smith, who have backgrounds in wildlife conservation and are passionate about how the choices people make at an individual level can change the impact on the natural world. Their business was created in 2020 and they have a growing customer base around the north of Cambridge, which now includes Eddington.

Sarah Ferriss commented “We are thrilled to be a pop-up at Eddington and look forward to meeting residents and sharing our knowledge about the way we work and how individually we can all make an impact towards sustainable living.

“We carefully research all of our products and take into account a range of sustainability criteria, from ingredients to packaging, and assess any trade-offs. We recognise that it can sometimes feel like a big step to make purchasing change so we are always happy to speak to our customers and the wider community about where to start on the sustainability journey and guide people through the price points and volumes that we offer”

In addition to their pop-up presence in Market Square, Green Blue You also offer doorstep refills which can be purchased on their website by 6pm on Tuesdays for Wednesday refills. They also sell a wide range of other environmentally friendly products through their website including cleaning products and cloths, shampoo and conditioner bars, bamboo toothbrushes, plastic free toothpaste tablets and much more! And as a bonus it is free local delivery in Eddington by bike or electric van. 

Green Blue You will run a weekly pop-up in Eddington Market Square on Wednesday mornings 8.30am-11am (term time only) from Wednesday 8 June 2022.
