Eddington Residents’ Association hosted a community picnic to celebrate HM The King’s coronation

Eddington Residents’ Association hosted a community picnic on Sunday 7 May as part of the nation’s celebration for His Majesty The King’s Coronation.

Over 180 residents joined in the Eddington Coronation Celebration which took place at Storey’s Field Centre, the community facility at the heart of the neighbourhood. The community enjoyed a range of arts and crafts, coronation cupcakes and the perfect chance to be part of the nation’s celebration of the new Carolean era.

Iain McMath, Chair of the Eddington Residents’ Association (ERA) said: “The ERA was excited to bring together residents from across Eddington and Darwin Green. The turnout was terrific, the weather obliging and the kids did great work producing dozens of stylised crowns for the occasion.”
