University Staff Housing
An essential part of the vision for Eddington was to help key workers within the University of Cambridge find housing within the city.
To that end, key worker homes are available to rent for qualifying staff members of the University, Colleges and Affiliated Institutions.
These homes are to an exceptionally high standard, designed to last for generations to come. All homes are built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5, with Eddington ultimately having approximately two-thirds of all the homes ever built at this level.
University key worker housing designs at Eddington were shortlisted for the prestigious architectural Stirling Prize by RIBA. Watch this short film produced by RIBA which features Stanton Williams, architects of the homes that are located in the centre of Eddington.
